Copyrights are the recognition made in favor of the author and shall be done before the National Institute of Copyrights.
In order to protect such copyrights we need the following information:
- Name of the owner of the copyright, a person or a corporation.
- Domicile
- Telephone number
- Fiscal number
- Name of the legal attorney.
- Name of the copyright.
- Name of the author.
- Date and place of birth of the author.
- Copy of the author´s id.
- A brief description of the copyright in no more than two sentences.
- Copyright in word format.
- Proxy or power attorney.
- If the author is different of the owner , we can draft a collaboration letter where the author assigns it rights to the owner.
*The process of the registration is approximately 10 business days.
